A jewellery universe created by Tina Gjersen-Sav
Wear the jewellery. Wear the story. Wear the future.
Tina Gjersen-Sav creates jewellery that challenges the boundaries between art, craft, and societal interpretation. Each piece functions as a wearable installation, inviting reflection and telling vivid stories about our time.
Insects Take the Stage in 2026
In 2026, Tina Gjersen-Savs’s HABITAT series truly steps out into the world as exhibited works of art. The first stop is Art Nordic in Copenhagen, where you can experience four works from the series on 13–15 March.
Tina exhibits alongside three other jewellery artists in Craft Circle 4 – Jewellery Art, which is part of the exhibition presenting 60 artists in total. Stop by and hear the story behind the creation process behind each work – from idea and form to material choices and craftsmanship. The series explores biodiversity, survival, and the wondrous ingenuity of insects – crafted using classic goldsmithing techniques and solid workmanship.

Design philosophy
Who are you as a consumer, and what life are you actually leading? These are not the thoughts you traditionally associate with a jewelry purchase, but goldsmith Tina Gjersen-Sav’s works are not created to please, but to poke, prod and bite…
Exhibitions
I participate in various exhibitions throughout the year, where you can experience my latest works up close. The exhibitions also give me the opportunity to create special ‘Signature Pieces’ – iconic works that capture and highlight my style and creativity…
About Tina Gjersen-Sav
I find inspiration for my jewellery designs in nature, and employ the traditional skills of the master goldsmith in working precious metals and gemstones. My artistic mission is to achieve a result in which both the materials and the concept come to life. This applies when I work on the jewellery collections sold at my showroom, on commissioned pieces and on works for exhibitions.
Art Gallery – Jewellery as Installations
HABITAT is a series of hand-crafted insect designs. An artistic project made up so far of 20 designs consisting of insects in their own habitat, exploring the themes of survival and creativity.
/101
Jewellery as Installations.
Art as a Mirror of Society.
At Gjersen Art Jewellery, noble materials are united with profound societal questions. The works are not merely pieces of jewellery, but art installations that spark dialogue about nature, philosophy, and humanity’s role. If you wish to experience more of this fusion between art and craft, you can visit the Art Gallery, where each Habitat tells its own story about humankind and the world around us.
A Quiet Protest in (Precious) Metal
Explore Tina Gjersen-Sav’s piece “The Crown of Nature” in the international lookbook The Lost Archive – First Edition.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, Tina chose to “waste time” by slowing down. The result was a tiara crafted in fine and sterling silver – a love poem to nature and to the joy of creating simply because she could.
This meditative process marked the beginning of her insect jewellery series — and stands today as a quiet protest in (precious) metal: a tribute to slowness, wonder, and the freedom to create for its own sake.
