JEWELLERY • FILM • MOMENTS

March to May 2024

Curated by Nina Hald and in association with Nordisk Film Cinemas 40 goldsmiths exhibit cinema-themed jewellery designs at three Danish cinemas.

My work, Lust and Love, was crafted with inspiration from the film Moulin Rouge.

The designs will be on show in the foyer of these cinemas:

  • Falkoner Bio cinema, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen from 1 March to 29 March 2024
  • Fotorama cinema, Viborg from 1 April to 28 April 2024
  • Nordisk Film Cinemas, Odense from 1 May to 30 May 2024

Admission to the exhibition at all three cinemas is free, and the cinema opening times are 30 minutes before the first show, 7 days a week.

I’ve written about my thoughts behind the jewellery design in my blog:

City of Jewellery, Copenhagen Goldsmiths’ Guild

28-30 September 2023

My designs were on show at Muji in the Illum department store. The theme was connections. This was the first time I exhibited my insect jewellery in Habitats.

What happens when you unite the skilled precious-metal worker’s craft with art, science and arts & culture outreach?

At the Danish Goldsmiths’ Show at Moltkes Palæ

November 2022

Where my jewellery designs were worn by three models on the catwalk.

Tina Gjersen-Sav’s jewellery designs also feature in fashion shows and art exhibitions, where they interact with other jewellery and visual arts. Here as showpieces for the Copenhagen Goldsmiths’ Guild show in 2022. Here as showpieces for the Copenhagen Goldsmiths’ Guild show in 2022.
