This piece is one of four pollinator drones, evoking the imagery of old-school perceptions of UFOs—an unidentified object shrouded in mystery

My thoughts behind the four pollinator drones can be seen as a commentary on the decline of insects and the biodiversity crisis. When real insects are gone, and pollinators are still needed for crops and flowers, human-made “aliens” like this might become the solution.

Each of the drones has a helipad landing zone with a single letter. Together, they spell the word: HELP

Copper frame, aluminum, and colored foil.
